Ad architecture. x KOUMOURIS OBERIN PARTNERS [KOP]
Ad architecture. produced several renders for the client for use in marketing, in order to secure early support through gym memberships. Renders were also used to iterate the design in conjunction with standard Revit documentation, experimenting with materials, finishes, lighting and layout in collaboration with lead architects.
A commercial fitout for a Gym in Maroochydore, QLD. Clean, sophistcated interiors are achieved through the showcase of highly detailed materials and finishes, including galvanised steel sheeting, Blackbutt timber fascias and speckled marmoleum flooring. Long, slender lighting fixtures reflect off a rusticated, exposed ceiling, illuminating the gym floor while emphasising the shape and size of the available space for activity.
Bloc 24 reached practical completion in early 2026. The similarity of the outcome to the production renders convey KOP's exemplary implementation of renders as design ideation tools, while remaining an important mode of communication between client-and-architect, and as a potent marketing strategy.
